A Drop-off Centre for creativity and human development, founded in nature. Children learn through direct experience, real projects and a community that knows them.
Our philosophy
Our centre creates the conditions for children to understand who they are, learn to live well with others and make something genuinely useful in the world.
What we value
At Living Tapestry our learning approach is underpinned by our uncompromised core values.
Every child and family is seen, understood and welcomed, with their individuality valued.
Questions open the way to wonder, exploration and deeper understanding.
Imagination helps us express, solve problems and bring new possibilities into being.
Learning flourishes through relationship with self, others, nature and community.
Children are encouraged to experiment, speak their truth and treat mistakes as threads in the learning journey.
Every person has something of value to offer; children flourish as capable contributors.
Empathy, integrity and respect ensure that capability is woven together with humanity.
We cultivate care for one another, our communities and the living world we share.
What do they learn?
Everything at Living Tapestry expands outward from the child. Self first. Then relationships. Then the world.
Self-awareness, emotional intelligence, creativity, resilience, curiosity and confidence.
Communication, listening, empathy, collaboration, leadership and belonging.
Entrepreneurship, innovation, environmental stewardship, community service and real-world making.
What do you get?
At Living Tapestry, children grow and learn within an intergenerational community. They question, create, decide and solve problems through conversation, deep listening, practical action and the right people and resources. Along the way, they develop critical thinking, collaboration, financial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset for life.
